Food Vendors:

Please note that any vendor/exhibitor providing any food, drink, or consumable items must fill out the correct, applicable application form for the County of Ventura Environmental Health Department.  It must be submitted to the Event Organizer along with fees (if applicable) payable to VEHD.  The event organizer will submit them at a scheduled appointment no less than two weeks prior to the event.

All food vendors must be inspected the day of the event prior to receiving a temporary permit.  The time of the inspection will be determined in advance and you will be advised by the event organizer.  Failure to pass the inspection or failure to be ready for inspection may result in denial of permit and subsequent inability to operate at Earth Day Camarillo.  Either failure would be vendor responsibility; no refunds will be issued.

This includes vendors who sell or give away prepackaged foods or drinks (teas, coffees, packaged samples).

If your food is prepackaged (not prepared or opened on-site) you will need a TFF-2 application.

If you prepare foods or give samples you will be a TFF-1 and have different rules, fees, and a different application.

Note: Earth Day Camarillo has decided to reduce the vendor fee for prepackaged foods to $80 due to reduced requirements in 2012. The other food fee remains at $100. At this time this change is not reflected on the application but it will be applied.

Once accepted by Earth Day Camarillo, all onsite-prepared food vendors must provide insurance certificates with additional insured endorsements naming Camarillo Community Gardens and Pleasant Valley Recreation and Park Department.

      Note: Given the limited space for on-site prepared food vendors and the increased interest in Earth Day Camarillo, and in an effort to provide the best business opportunity for our vendors, please contact us prior to submitting your application.
